Mission opportunities

Thank you to everyone who purchased gifts for the Mission Tree at Christmas, purchased food for the Christmas food drive, and donated coats for our Coats for Christ drive!

Your generosity has allowed 77 adults and 20 children to be a little warmer during the frigid weather we've had this winter.

Donate empty pill bottles

The Mission Board is collecting empty pill bottles for Matthew 25: Ministries in Blue Ash. Your donation of empty over-the-counter and prescription plastic pill bottles serve two purposes: 1) they are used to distribute medicine to the poorest of the poor worldwide, and 2) it keeps thousands of bottles out of landfills each year.

Before donating bottles, please remove all medical labels and rinse the containers thoroughly. Place the empty bottles in the marked box in the narthex at the church.

Easter gift bags | Hope House

The FBC Mission Board would like to make Easter gift bags for the women staying at the Shelter for Women and Children at Hope House Mission in Middletown.

The shelter has already been blessed with generous donations of typical toiletry items, so the FBC Mission Board is seeking donations of the following items for the Easter gift bags:
* Band aids
* Bar soap holders
* Body wash (small bottles)
* Chapstick/lip balm
* Fingernail files
* Gum
* Hair brushes
* Hair spray
* Journals
* Make-up remover wipes
* Mints
* Pens
* Pony tail bands/hair bands
* Small, spiral-bound notebooks
* Tissues

Donations can be dropped off at church in the labeled bin in the Narthex by March 25, 2018, so bags can be assembled and delivered in time for Easter (April 1, 2018).
