International missionaries

First Baptist Church support multiple international missionaries through International Ministries, also known as the American Baptist Foreign Mission Society. IM works cross-culturally to invite people to become disciples of Jesus Christ and to proclaim, through both word and deed, God's reign of justice, peace and abundant life for all creation.

First Baptist currently supports:

• Asia-Pacific region: Bruce & Ann Borquist
• China, Hong Kong: Rev. Emerson & Ivy Wu
• Dominican Republic: Vital & Ketly Pierre
• Democratic Republic of the Congo, South Sudan: Dr. Bill & Ann Clemmer

International missions

First Baptist also supports the following international missions through annual offerings:

• One Great Hour of Sharing: This annual offering, typically collected in June, is a Christian effort to empower, provide water, supply food, and give relief from disasters.
• World Mission Offering: This annual offering, typically collected in October, supports churches, missionaries, evangelists and teachers in our overseas fields.
